Saddle Hills County is offering a Water Cistern Subsidy program for residents which will cover 75 percent of the costs incurred for the purchase and installation of a new water cistern up to a maximum of $5,000.
The program, which went into effect this week, requires that residents apply for the subsidy before purchase or installation of new cisterns to qualify. Reimbursement will be made based on receipts presented.
Application forms for the subsidy are available on the County website or at the County office. Subsidies will be approved on a first-come – first-served basis.
Subsidies are limited to one application per residential dwelling and must be for the installation of new cisterns.
