Meet the Reeve & Council

On behalf of my colleagues on Council I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our web site.

Since becoming a county in 1995, we have worked very hard with our administration, community organizations, and local industry to deliver quality services in an efficient manner. Through sound financial and strategic planning, Council has aggressively upgraded our infrastructure and increased service levels while at the same time lowering taxes. We are obviously proud of these accomplishments and believe that by staying on course the future for our community is indeed bright.

I hope you will take a few minutes to look through our site and learn more about us. If you have any questions or are looking for additional information, please contact me, any member of Council or our staff and we will do our best to help.

Tim Stone, Reeve

Ken Titford

Division 1

I have lived in Bay Tree for over 30 years. My wife, children and I have a commercial Simmental cow/calf mixed farm, as well as a small equipment contractors business.

In the past I sat on Improvement District #20 (Saddle Hills County) Council for 9 years from 1986 - 1995. I look forward to this new term on council with your continued support and input.

Alvin Hubert

Division 2

Alvin and his wife Janet moved to the Cotillion area of Saddle Hills County in the early 80’s where they operate a grain, oil seed and grass seed farm with Alvin’s brother. They and their four children have enjoyed being a part of the community and were especially fond of the days spent playing Minor Hockey in Savanna. Still an active part of the community Alvin is a member of the Cotillion Rec Association.

As well as representing Division two on the Saddle Hills County Council, Alvin is serving on the Agricultural Service Board and the Municipal Planning Commission.

Cindy Clarke

Deputy Reeve, Division 4

Cindy and her husband John live on a farm in the Fourth Creek area with their two children. Cindy has a business as an independent bookkeeper and is an active volunteer throughout the community. Cindy would like to further her involvement in the community by representing Division 4 as Councillor.

Bruce has been an active member of the Happy Valley Fire Department for many years. Bruce and his wife operate a cow/calf and back grounding operation. He was also involved with 4-H as a leader. Bruce represents Division 6 and serves on the V.S.I. Board. He served six years as the Zone 9 director on the Alberta Cattle Commission and is starting another term as the Zone 9 delegate.
