Municipal Election Day is Monday, October 18, 2021.
The Municipal Election will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The voting stations on Election Day will be located at the following locations:
- Ward 1 Bonanza Community Hall - 12407 Township Road 801, Bonanza, AB
- Ward 3 Savanna Rec Plex - 81378 Range Road 100, Silver Valley, AB
- Ward 5 and 6 Saddle Hills County Administration Building - 79177 Range Road 84, Spirit River, AB
- Ward 7 Woking Community Hall- 5104 – 50th Street, Woking, AB
* Please double check the voting station which applies to you based on where you reside. If you end up at the wrong voting station you will be re-directed. See the map(s) below.
An Advance Vote will take place on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
For voters who are unable to vote on October 18, an Advance Vote will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Voters who were away or could not get to their voting station on October 18 were able vote at the advance polling station on Thursday, October 7, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the County Complex, 25 kms west of the Town of Spirit River, Alberta at the Junction of Hwy 49 and Hwy 725.
Requirements for Voter Identification
In order to vote, you must produce identification for inspection.
Candidates
There are two divisions that have been acclaimed:
- Ward 2 – Alvin Hubert (Incumbent)
- Ward 4 – Ed Armagost (Incumbent)
Saddle Hills County residents will elect one Councillor from each of the five electoral divisions. Candidates elected to office serve a four-year term.

During the October 18th Municipal Election, Alberta voters will have the opportunity to participate in the Senate Election and Referendum Vote. Candidates have been acclaimed in both Ward 2 and Ward 4.
Voters in Wards 2 and 4 can participate in both the Senate Election and the Referendum Vote at any of the voting stations in the County:
