Small Business Saturdays A Hit

Small Business Saturdays A Hit
Posted on 01/12/2019

The first two of four free skills-training workshops for businesses on Saturdays during the month of January, 2019 have been a hit.

The first two workshops dealt with Time Management and Organization and helped local business owners define sources of stress and how through effective time management and organizational strategies, business owners can change their reaction to the many stresses of running a business.

Now that the first two workshops, put on by the County in conjunction with Grande Prairie Regional College (GPRC), are complete, the next two will focus on Successful Hiring and Employee Retention.

These are one-day workshops which have been scheduled to allow maximum opportunity for public participation.

Next Workshops:

January 19 or 26

·        Successful Hiring & Employee Retention

Both workshops run from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and will be held at the Saddle Hills County Complex.

Lunch is provided.
