Taxes / Assessment
Tax Payment Deadline - October 31, 2019
Saddle Hills County would like to remind its ratepayers that the next penalty deadline for payment of property taxes is October 31, 2019. After this date a 6% penalty shall be imposed on any of the current year’s tax balance outstanding. 

An additional penalty amount of 6% will be applied to all arrears after December 31, 2019. 

Our office is located 25 km west of Spirit River at the Junction of Hwy 49 & Hwy 725.  Office hours are 8:15 am to 4:30 pm. Please use the drop box after hours.  

Payments may also be make through online banking with most Financial Institutions, over the phone with a credit card, or by mail with a cheque. When mailing a cheque the Canada Post marked date of mailing will determine the received payment date.  




Environmental Services

NOTICE - Residents of Bonanza & Bay Tree

Saddle Hills County will be resuming construction of the Bonanza to Bay Tree Rural Potable Waterline starting on October 7, 2019. Construction is expected to last until Christmas. This phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of January 2020.

Contractors will be working with heavy equipment and service workers will be in the area. Residents who have signed up for the water service can expect a site visit from the contractor and project engineer over the next three months to connect their homes to the water pipeline.

Water Notice - Woking
Water service in Woking will be interrupted from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm on October 4 for routine maintenance and upgrades at the water plant.  The service interruption will affect all residents as well as the truck fill station.
Thank you for your patience as we maintain the County's infrastructure.
