Moisture Updates - July 3, 2023

From June 30 to July 3, 2023, we have seen 5-10 mm of precipitation across dry parts of the Peace Region, with much of the Southern Region remaining dry. Areas from Grande Prairie to Reed Deer, received between 5 - 50 mm of precipitation total, for this period.

Over the course of June, the Northern Peace Region and Eastern parts of the Southern and Central Regions received little rainfall, below 20 mm in total. This was up to under 100 mm across much of the Northwest. Luscar Creek reported the greatest amount of precipitation, at 335 mm, with seven stations reporting over 250 mm. The lowest precipitation received, 5.9 mm total, was reported at Keg River AGCM Station.
