Recognizing our Agricultural Leaders

Nominations are open for the 2024 Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame, honouring individuals who have advanced Alberta's agriculture and food industries and rural life. 

The Government of Alberta is encouraging Albertans to nominate agricultural leaders in their community for receive the award.

Every two years, up to three individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership that has made a province-wide impact are inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Since it's inception in 1951, the Hall of Fame has recognized 141 Albertan men and women who have made significant contributions to agriculture and rural life in the province. Past recipients include researchers, cattle breeders, agri-food innovators, and passionate educators who have helped Albertans connect with their local food systems.

The nomination deadline is May 3, 2024.
