Saddle Hills County is featured in the 2022 Economic Developers of Alberta magazine in a three-page spread about the Saddle Hills County Advantage with a focus on the Saddle Hills County Water Advantage. The feature spread includes two pages on the many opportunities for economic growth available to industry in Saddle Hills County and another page devoted to a more detailed look at some of the specific advantages the County offers.

This year's feature incudes special information about the $40 million Central Peace Regional Water Project which includes $16 million in funding from the federal government and $20 million in funding from the provincial government with Saddle Hills providing the balance.

Access to an abundant and reliable source of water is key to economic growth. We are in the process of constructing a new water supply intake on the Peace River.
