Strong Start to 2024 for Savanna 4-H

The Savanna 4-H Multi-Club, consisting of 23 members aged nine to 19, is kicking off another year, and took the time to reflect back on some of their achievements in 2023.

Some of these achievements include:

  • 25 calves, including heifers, were weighed-in at the Blueberry Mountain Community Pasture on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
  • A food drive fundraiser was held during the course of the year with collected items donated to the local food bank.
  • An annual Christmas party was held on December 28, 2023.

Heading into 2024, the club plans to go skating and play games together, and are scheduled to attend a Beef Health Clinic at Northwestern Polytechnic in Fairview this month.

We are always thrilled to hear about the achievements of young people in our community and wish the Savanna 4-H, and other 4-H clubs in the area, an educational and fun 2024!
