Woking Firefighters Honour Gerd Cramer

At their regular meeting night December 7th the Woking Fire Department held a special supper, followed by distribution of their new jackets and milestone pins (5, 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 year pins).

The firefighters also honoured Gerd Cramer who is retiring this year, after serving on the Woking fire dept for 40 years. Gerd was one of the founding members of the Woking fire department which was first formed in 1981. He was in attendance at the old fire hall’s grand opening as well.  He received an official acknowledgement and thank you from Councillor Don Hoffart.
