The Goat Patch
Shaun and Mallory Kaiser, along with their sons, Kaz and Zak, raise a predominantly Kiko goat herd and help operate a family grain farm, in Fourth Creek, AB. Since 2015, they have been dedicated to becoming leaders in the goat and Kiko industry in Western Canada.
Goats are held to the highest standards, and they maintain a closed herd with strict biosecurity protocols. The herd is tested annually for CAE, Johnes, and CL. With a rigorous culling program and a consistent kidding rate of 2.4 kids per doe, they prioritize health, productivity, and quality.
The farm is proudly involved in key industry initiatives, including the Goat Code of Practice, traceability, scrapie prevention, Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae (M. Ovi) research, and advocating for the inclusion of goats in the Public Lands Act and Forestry Act. They also support genetic improvement through the importation of new Kiko genetics into Canada.
Delivery can be arranged anywhere in Canada. Discounts are available for large group purchases.
