    The 2022 Ag Services Townhalls are designed to get input from Saddle Hills County agricultural producers about our potential programs, services, and outreach offerings (webinars, courses, etc.).

    Your Agricultural Service Board

    The Agricultural Service Board (ASB) advises Council on how to best serve our rural communities. The ASB provides services and recommendations to our producers. The ASB also does inspections and research on pests, crop disease, and weeds in the County.

  • April 7th Ag Services Townhall POSTPONED

    PLEASE NOTE: The April 7th Ag Services Townhall Scheduled for Bonanza has been POSTPONED, Saddle Hills County Ag Services Department gathering input from County agricultural producers about our potential programs, services, and outreach offerings (webinars, courses, etc.).

    CPFTA Graduation

    The Central Peace Fire Training Academy held a graduation ceremony on Saturday, March 26th at the Rycroft AgriPlex, for its four newest recruit Firefighters (shown in center of photo). The recruits attended numerous training nights over the past 16 weeks including a day of live fire training at the training facility in Wanham, to achieve the NFPA 1001 Level 1 training standard.

    Moisture Situation Update As Of March 27, 2022

    Saddle Hills County’ Ag Services Department is pleased to provide the most recent update on the moisture situation in Alberta.

    2022-2025 Strategic Plan Published

    Every year, Council publishes a Strategic Plan. This plan sets out the guiding principles and long-term goals of Council. The Strategic Plan lets residents to keep track of how their government works, and what changes are planned for the community.

    Land Titles Backlog

    The Land Title Office is currently experiencing a substantial backlog in processing real estate transactions.

  • Accepting Do Not Spray Agreements

    Do Not Spray Agreements are now being accepted with a deadline of May 31st at  4:30pm! If you do not wish to have your roadside sprayed beside your property a  Do Not Spray Request form is required.

    April 30 Dust Control Deadline

    Each year Saddle Hills County offers dust control treatments on roads in front of residences at a cost approved by Council.
