  • UPDATED Evacuation Order & Alerts - June 10, 2025

    The Evacuation Order is being expanded to include all those located between Twp Rd 794 and Hwy 49, between Rge Rd 94 and Rge Rd 85. An order is also in place for everyone located between Rge Rd 95 and Hwy 725, and Twp Rd 794 and Twp Rd 802, including Moonshine Lake Provincial Park.

  • Blueberry Mountain Wildfire (GWF028) Update

    Wildfire GWF028 was first reported on May 22, 2025, and is located 7 km northwest of Moonshine Lake, moving southeast. Alberta Wildfire and local fire crews are actively responding, with both ground crews and aircraft.

  • 911 Service Outage

    GP911 is experiencing technical difficulties receiving 911 calls. The cause of the outage is unknown, and Telus is investigating. This outage affects the ability to call 911 on both cellphone and landlines. Residents in the affected area may not be able get through when dialing 911.

  • Emergency Test Alert Today: Emergency Preparedness Week

    Today at 11:55 a.m., the National Public Alerting System will issue a test message to Alberta through TV, Radio, and directly to compatible and connected smartphones.
