Apply to be on the UFA 2026 Board of Directors

The United Farmers of Alberta (UFA) is seeking nominations for three Director positions, each for a four-year term, commencing March 20, 2026.

By serving on the Board, individuals have the opportunity to help lead one of Western Canada's leading agricultural co-operatives, contributing to decisions that directly impact members and the local communities they serve.

Ideal nominees would have:

• Agricultural knowledge and experience, either as an active or recently retired producer.
• A passion for agricultural co-operatives and a commitment to representing members.
• A strong understanding of the co-operative business model.
• Strong leadership experience, having served as a Board Director or as a senior executive reporting to a Board, to help provide strategic direction for the co-op's growth and long-term success.
• Financial acumen with a solid understanding of financial reporting requirements for a large organization, having served in the capacity of a senior executive.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, to be part of shaping the cooperative's growth strategy.

The deadline for applications is November 1, 2025, at 4 p.m. (MST).
