Camp Wonder Warden
An upcoming summer program is offering young women a unique opportunity to explore careers in conservation and law enforcement.
“Camp Wonder Warden,” an overnight summer camp running August 16-20, 2026, is designed for participants aged 16 to 18 who are interested in becoming Alberta Fish and Wildlife officers.
The camp focuses on building confidence, leadership skills, and hands-on knowledge related to wildlife protection and environmental stewardship. Participants will take part in outdoor activities and experiential learning aimed at providing insight into the responsibilities and daily work of conservation officers.
Organizers say the program is intended to inspire and empower young women while encouraging interest in careers within Alberta’s natural resource and enforcement sectors.
Those interested in attending can request additional information or apply by contacting program organizers via email at pses.campwonderwarden@gov.ab.ca
