Fire Advisory Notice
A Fire Advisory is in effect for Saddle Hills County, for areas outside of the Forest Protection Area, due to warm, dry conditions that increase wildfire risk.
Please use caution outdoors and avoid activities that could start a fire.
Under this advisory:
- Existing fire permits remain valid and all permit conditions must be followed.
- New fire permits will be issued case-by-case.
- Safe campfires are still allowed.
Prohibited:
- Any burning without a valid fire permit, except campfires.
If operating machinery, OHVs, or farm equipment, carry firefighting tools such as a shovel, pail, and fire extinguisher.
Never leave a campfire unattended. Fully extinguish it by soaking, stirring, and soaking again.
