Fire Danger Rating - HIGH

Due to the rising temperatures and drying conditions, the Fire Danger Rating in Saddle Hills County is now HIGH.

Controlled burning in the Non-Forest Protection Area, including on privately owned land, is now limited to campfires, burning barrels, and hand-piled, 2 cubic meter or smaller wooden piles.

Burn permits are still required and will be issued on a case-by-case basis. Large fuel burns will not be permitted at this time.
