Moisture Update July 9, 2026

Recent rainfall has continued to improve soil moisture conditions across much of Alberta, including the Peace Region. While many agricultural areas have seen gains in crop and pasture conditions, moisture levels remain uneven, with some regions still experiencing below-normal soil moisture reserves. Additional timely rainfall will be important as crops enter key stages of development to maintain yield potential, replenish soil moisture, and support pasture and hay production.
