Nominate someone for the Province's Highest Honour

Do you know of an outstanding community member, leader, or pioneer that you think might be deserving of Alberta's highest honour?

The province is now accepting nominations for the Alberta Order of Excellence. The Order is the province's highest distinction and honours citizens who have made significant continuous contributions to their communities.

Previous winners include Olympians, scientists, volunteers, business leaders, and artists. Since its inception, 212 Albertans have been awarded the honour.

Nominations can be submitted throughout the year, but must be received before February 15 to be considered for the current year's nomination.

Nominees must be Canadian citizens currently residing in Alberta and, if selected, must be able to attend the ceremony. People cannot nominate themselves, their spouse, or a member of their immediate family.

Information about nomination guidelines, forms, and biographies of past winners can be found online at www.alberta.ca/the-alberta-order-of-excellence
