Peace Officer Report- February 2026

For the month of February, Peace Officer Wayne Olson worked 18 days, covering 153 hours on a mix of daytime weekday shifts.

Work focused on areas with reported concerns, including Road Use Agreement compliance and speeding complaints. Enforcement activity included 9 traffic stops—primarily for speeding, with one stop sign violation. The average speed of those stopped was 24 km/h over the posted limit.

Time was divided between patrols (72.5 hours), training and administrative duties (68.5 hours, including conference attendance), school zone monitoring (6 hours), and investigations related to Road Use Agreements (6 hours).

Training during the month included emergency first aid, animal attack response, and ICS communication roles, supporting ongoing skill development and emergency readiness.
