Play, Clean, Go: Invasive Species Action Week

Beginning every year in June on National Trails Day, PlayCleanGo Awareness Week helps raise awareness about invasive species across North America. The campaign is coordinated by the North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA).
Invasive species can harm Canada’s environment, economy, and way of life. They spread quickly, crowd out native plants and animals, and damage natural ecosystems. Their impacts are also felt by farmers, hunters, outdoor users, Indigenous communities, local governments, and businesses.
Everyone can help stop the spread by cleaning gear, boots, vehicles, and equipment before moving between outdoor areas. Learn more about PlayCleanGo®
