Public Works Week

May 17-23, 2026 is Public Works Week. This week, we celebrate the local heroes who keep our County running. 

Public Works employees carry our a whole range of jobs around the County, from maintaining our roads and facilities to treating and monitoring our water, managing our waste, and so much more. They help to create the backbone that we all benefit from. Often unseen, their quiet dedication to their jobs keeps the County thriving. 

If you see one of our public works employees out and about this week make sure to let them know you appreciate them!
