Stories That Built Saddle Hills County

Every community has a story.
From pioneer homesteads and one-room schoolhouses to family farms, local businesses, community halls, and celebrations, the history of Saddle Hills County has been shaped by the people who called it home.
As we begin planning the 2027 Saddle Hills County Calendar, we are inviting residents, past and present, to help us preserve and share our local history through the Stories That Built Saddle Hills County campaign.
We're looking for:
📸 Historic photographs
🏡 Pioneer and family stories
🎓 School memories
🚜 Farming history
⛪ Community events and gatherings
⚾ Sports teams and recreation
🏪 Historic businesses and landmarks
Over the next 12 weeks, we'll be highlighting communities throughout Saddle Hills County and inviting residents to share memories and photographs from each area.
Submissions may be featured in the 2027 Saddle Hills County Calendar and future County communications.
