VSI Services (1980) Ltd. is hiring for a Manager, to help run operations in northern Alberta.

Veterinary Services Incorporated (VSI) is a not-for-profit program with the primary intent of encouraging the development of veterinary practices, mainly within northern Alberta. It provides support for veterinary services to four basic large animal species: cattle, swine, sheep and goats. Participating municipalities receive varying levels of coverage, with some having also added additional species, often on a limited services covered basis. 

The Manager will be responsible for financial management, stakeholder relationships, and general administration tasks, among other things.

Supervised by the VSI Services Board president, the position is on a variable, part-time contract, for between approximately 10-45 hours per month, dependent on reporting timeline and number of claims. Compensation for the position ranges from $45 - $80 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience. 

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budget oversight.  
• A working knowledge of veterinary services. 
• Knowledge of municipal governments and non-profit legislation would be considered an asset.
