Saddle Hills County entered a partnership with Town & Country Grande Prairie Regional News in the fall of 2023, to provide residents and ratepayers with an additional source of news from the Central Peace Region.

Residents and ratepayers can sign up to receive a copy of the newspaper, along with a copy of the Central Peace Signal, directly to their mailbox. If you would like to sign up to receive a free copy of either newspaper, please submit your details using our News Sign-up Application.

Town & Country News is an award-winning locally owned and operated heritage community newspaper, first published in 1956 by Trevor Harris as the Beaverlodge Advertiser.

Now serving a paid readership base of about 2,000 across the County of Grande Prairie, Town of Sexsmith, Town of Beaverlodge, Town of Wembley, City of Grande Prairie, and Saddle Hills County, Town & Country News offers regional news and features that can’t be read anywhere else. Town & Country News is published by Rebecca Dika, a product of the Woking area and now resident of Beaverlodge.
