    Province Announces $2 Million Grant for the Design of Regional Water Treatment Plant

    The Alberta Ministry of Transportation announced on July 20, 2022, the approval of the Water for Life grant application for the design of the Central Peace Regional Water Treatment Plant. The funding covers up to 90 percent of the costs of the project; two million dollars of the $2,222,222 needed.

    The City of Dawson Creek is in the process of developing a new Culture, Parks and Recreation Master Plan and is seeking input from Saddle Hills County residents who use the City’s facilities.

  • Passing the Paddle – July 22 to 28

    Pre-registration is open for the Peace River Brigade, June 22 to 28, 2022. The pre-registration is to identify the number of people interested in doing the brigade this summer as either a team crew with access to their own boat or unattached paddlers without a boat looking to join a crew.
