  • Vote by Special Ballot During the 2025 Municipal Election

    This year, Saddle Hills County voters have the option to vote by Special Ballot (i.e. mail-in ballot) during the 2025 Municipal Election. Special Ballots are used when an elector, whose name is contained in the permanent electors register, is unable to vote at the Advance Vote or on Election Day.

  • Marketing the North Creators Camp

    The first annual Marketing the North Creators Camp is set for Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the Co-op Mercer Hall at the Ovintiv Events Centre in Dawson Creek — and you won’t want to miss it.

  • Assessment Re-inspections in Gundy, Happy Valley, and Woking areas

    Assessors, Aaron Steblyk and Jason Gencianos, will be out in Saddle Hills County, during the week of August 11-15, 2025, conducting property re-inspections in the southern portion of the County, in the Gundy, Happy Valley, and Woking areas. 

  • Woking RV Sani-Dump Now Open!

    Located on the east side of the new fire hall, the sani-dump allows Recreational Vehicles (RVs) an area to dispose of their black and grey water free of charge, as well as potable water for filling RV tanks only.

  • Seeking Members-at-Large for Boards and Committees

    Saddle Hills County is seeking Members-at-Large for a number of boards and committees with terms expiring in 2025, including the Agricultural Services Board, Central Peace Assessment Review Board, Saddle Hills County Municipal Library Board, Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, and the ALUS Partnership Advisory Committee (PAC).

  • 2025 Tax Payment Deadline Approaching

    The deadline for 2025 property taxes is fast approaching. Taxes are due by July 31, 2025.

    Saddle Hills County reminds all residents and visitors: freshly constructed dozer guards are not ATV trails.

  • Remote Potable Water Hauling Areas Expanded

    Saddle Hills County Council has added additional areas to the Remote Potable Water Hauling Subsidy, to include areas in Woking that are considered unfeasible through the Rural Potable Water Project.

  • Live Truck Fill Volumes Now Available

    Live Truck Fill Volumes are now available online for residents to view 24/7.
