    The Alberta Culture Days Grant is now open and will be celebrated from September 1 - 30. Community Organizations are encouraged to apply for event funding.

    The Grande Prairie Child and Youth Addiction and Mental Health Team (CYAMH) is offering a travel clinic to children and youth at the Central Peace Health Centre in Spirit River biweekly, starting Thursday, March 7, 2024.

  • Christmas in the County

    Seasonal cheer abounded at the Christmas in the County event on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Residents and visitors came from around the region to celebrate the festive season at the County office, with Santa, candy cane hunts, treats, free photograph opportunities, an exhibition, and much more!

  • Alberta Beef Producers Meeting

    Join fellow beef producers for a chance to connect and converse over a beef dinner provided by a local catering crew at the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Grande Prairie, on January 16, 2024, from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m.

    Mental First Aid Supporting Older Adults (MHFA SOA) is an evidence-based training course by the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), designed for people who have frequent contact with older adults such as through continuing care, home care, and seniors lodges, as well as family members, friends, caregivers, health workers, and volunteers.
