    Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) and Saddle Hills County are thrilled to be partnering to provide additional mental health supports to County students.

  • Notice Re: 2025 Property Assessments

    Recently, Saddle Hills County changed how they provide assessment services, switching from in-house assessors to external assessor, Aaron Steblyk and his team at Compass Assessment Consultants Inc.

    As part of this transition, some changes had to be made to the way in which assessment values were calculated for 2025, in order to align with provincial regulations and assessment best practices. This change will cause varying impacts on landowner’s property assessments.

    Saddle Hills County will be holding a by-election for Ward 5 on Monday, November 25, 2024. An Advance Vote will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024.

    Council has called a Ward 5 By-Election to fill the seat recently vacated by Councillor Fitzsimmons. The nomination period is now open for those interested. 

  • Press Release: Ward 5 Councillor, Willis Fitzsimmons, Resigns

    Ward 5 Councillor, Willis Fitzsimmons, has provided Saddle Hills County Council with his resignation, effective Friday, September 27, 2024. Councillor Fitzsimmons and his wife recently sold their home in the County and, as of Friday, will no longer be residing in Ward 5 and therefore no longer eligible to represent them on Council.
