    A strike notice has been issued by Canada Post workers for Friday, May 23, 2025. Should this strike go ahead, postal service will be disrupted in Saddle Hills County, which may affect ratepayers abilities to receive utility bills and other County correspondence in the mail.

  • Notice Re: 2025 Property Assessments

    Recently, Saddle Hills County changed how they provide assessment services, switching from in-house assessors to external assessor, Aaron Steblyk and his team at Compass Assessment Consultants Inc.

    As part of this transition, some changes had to be made to the way in which assessment values were calculated for 2025, in order to align with provincial regulations and assessment best practices. This change will cause varying impacts on landowner’s property assessments.

    The 2025 Capital and Operating Budgets have been finalized and are now available. 

  • 911 Service Outage

    GP911 is experiencing technical difficulties receiving 911 calls. The cause of the outage is unknown, and Telus is investigating. This outage affects the ability to call 911 on both cellphone and landlines. Residents in the affected area may not be able get through when dialing 911.
