Fire Advisory - August 11, 2025

Saddle Hills County has downgraded the Fire Restriction to a FIRE ADVISORY. A Fire Advisory is also in effect for the Grande Prairie Forest Area. 

Controlled burning in the Non-Forest Protection Area, including on privately-owned land, is limited to campfires, burning barrels, and hand-piled wood, two cubic metres or smaller.

Burn permits are still required and will be issued on a case-by-case basis. Large fuel burns will not be permitted at this time.

The Fire Advisory will remain in effect until conditions improve.

Election Worker Applications Closed

Due to overwhelming interest, Saddle Hills County will not be accepting any further Election Worker Applications at this time.

Anyone who has already submitted an application, will be contacted should they be successful.
