Postal Service Disruption

A strike notice has been issued by Canada Post workers for Friday, May 23, 2025. Should this strike go ahead, postal service will be disrupted in Saddle Hills County, which may affect ratepayers abilities to receive utility bills and other County correspondence in the mail.

In the event of a postal strike, mail and parcels will not be delivered and no new items will be accepted until the disruption is over. Please note, that even during mail disruptions, ratepayers are still responsible for paying their utility bills and tax notices on time.

The 2025 combined assessment and tax notices have already been mailed out as of May 1, 2025. If you have not yet received your Property Tax Notice, please contact us at taxation@saddlehills.ab.ca, call (780) 864-3760, or visit the County office.

Saddle Hills County would like to take this opportunity to remind you of your options for receipt and payment of your bills and/or notices. You can arrange to receive these via email, by completing an eSend Service Agreement online, or at the County office.

Payments can be made directly though major banks using their bill payment options, by phone using a credit card, or in person at the County office. All penalties, interest, and fines remain in effect and we are unable to make exceptions for late payments sent by mail.
