Each of our Transfer Stations has collection bins outside of the gates to accommodate residents who cannot visit the Transfer Station during its regular operating hours.     The Farm Technology Program supports the adoption of innovative technology that minimizes agricultural waste, optimizes farm efficiency, and encourages the adoption of best management practices in farm security. This program targets technology that is proven but not yet widely adopted, and producers are eligible to receive up to $50,000 over the program term.

    A ground-breaking ceremony was broadcast live from Advantage Energy’s Glacier Gas Plant in Saddle Hills County at 9:00 am, Thursday November 18th . The event included opening remarks from Reeve Alvin Hubert and a live press conference from Edmonton with Premier Jason Kenney and Alberta’s Minister of Environment and Parks, the Honourable Jason Nixon.

    Hessler Family Farm Recieves Farm Family Award

    The Hessler Family Farm, of Saddle Hills County, has been named one of 10 recipients of Farmfair International’s 2021 Farm Family Award. The ceremony to hand out the awards, held on Friday, November 12, at the Edmonton EXPO Centre during Farmfair International, hosted a total of 25 farm families, which represent award recipients for both 2020 and 2021.
