Saddle Hills County is now accepting tenders for our Bonanza Distribution Pumps Upgrade. 

A reminder to ratepayers that the final penalty deadline for 2024 property taxes, was December 31, 2024. As of January 1, 2025, a 6% penalty has been placed on the total of any outstanding amount. 

A reminder to residents eligible for the County's Remote Potable Water Hauling Subsidy in 2024, that the deadline to submit receipts is January 31, 2025.

Saddle Hills County has appointed Aaron Steblyk with Compass Assessment as the new Assessor for Saddle Hills County. We are currently making some changes to the delivery of Assessment Services in the County and thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we navigate this transition period. Saddle Hills County is now accepting applications for the Cemetery Capital Grant Program. This new program is intended to provide funding to cemeteries located within Saddle Hills County for capital projects, such as repairs to existing grounds and facilities or new construction on the grounds. 

Ensuring the future of Saddle Hills County and its residents has been one of Council’s goals for many years. From things like ensuring the long-term viability of our roads and infrastructure to the success of our youth and, most recently, finding new solutions to rural healthcare and internet access, providing reliable long-term solutions to access important resources like water is just another way Saddle Hills County, with the help of our G5 neighbours, is hoping to support the ongoing economic growth and sustainability of the Peace Region community.
