Cotillion Park

CLOSED FOR THE 2025 SEASON

Cotillion Park is located on the banks of the mighty Peace River, and offers the same spectacular view that impressed Alexander MacKenzie in 1793, as he paddled upriver on his search for the Pacific Ocean. Rugged sandstone cliffs, undisturbed parkland forests, and a variety of wildlife including moose, deer, bears, beavers, and eagles, make this a stunning yet private location for a day trip or getaway.

Walk right down to the banks of the river to fish, launch your boat, explore the abundance of trails on foot or ATV, find the secluded waterfall, or relax in the campsite - there are plenty of activities for all ages.

The sheltered group use area has a fire pit, washrooms, showers, and a playground, and is host to the annual Music in the Park event in the summer. WiFi is now also available at the campground via Starlink.

The campground has 20 overnight stalls, complete with parking space, fire pit, and picnic tables. Powered sites are available, as well as free firewood for guests.

For those interested in travelling the Peace River, Mighty Peace Tourism has put together a handy Upper Peace Valley Recreation Area Map/Guide for River Travel.

Reservations can be made online, at letscamp.ca

The park also has it's own Facebook page, with news, information, and events, including opening dates.
