Spring Lake

Spring Lake is the perfect location for a day out or weekend away. Explore the trails, relax on the beach, fish for trout, or spend some quality time with family and friends in the campground. The lake is stocked with both Rainbow and Brook Trout, and the deep pools and bright, clear water result in some record catches. It is the perfect location for year round fishing trips, with ice fishing events often hosted during the winter months. The trails are also perfect for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake, and you will often catch sailors and paddle boarders enjoying the peace and solitude. The boat launch was recently upgraded with new concrete pads, in the summer of 2023. 

Our Day Use Area features a semi-enclosed gazebo with a wood cookstove, suitable for family gatherings and events. 

The campground has 66 back-in camping stalls in a forest setting, providing privacy and a natural canopy. Stalls come complete with parking, fire pits, and picnic tables. The campground also has newly renovated outhouses and wood storage, with free wood available to campers.

2023 has seen the beginning of the process to provide electricity in the campground, as well as the addition of more vault toilets in the B-loop and further development of the walking paths and trails.

Seasonal sites are available each year, and information will be advertised, including rates, on our website and through social media.

The Day Use Area is open year round with the campground available during the spring and summer months. You can reserve a campsite using the Spring Lake reservation page, at campreservations.ca

The lake also has it's own Facebook page, with news and information on the campground and area, including opening dates.
