Join Saddle Hills County for Ag Drone School, a two day hands-on workshop, hosted by LandView Drones, on October 27-28, 2025, at the Fourth Creek Hall.

Saddle Hills County and the Savanna Ag Society are hosting Farm The Ground Up, a Soil Health Workshop, at the Savanna Rec. Plex, on October 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

While cool temperatures and regular rainfall slowed the start of harvest 2025, the past week provided the warm clear days needed for widespread harvest operations to begin.

The pattern of rainfall over the past two weeks was more typical for the province, with the north receiving more precipitation than the south. This precipitation has improved overall growing season accumulations in many areas across the province. 

Due to the ongoing drought experienced in the area, Saddle Hills County has been added as a designated region for the Livestock Tax Deferral Provision.

Each year, RMA provides a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to one successful applicant from each of the five RMA districts, to assist in their pursuit of higher education. Saddle Hills County is located in District 4.
