Spring has sprung, which can only mean one thing, our greenhouses are opening!

Imagine this. You have an area of your yard that you feel has tons of potential but have no idea of where to start.

Saddle Hills County hosted an information evening with RCMP representatives S/Sgt. Luke Halvorson, Community Safety Branch, and Sgt. Adam Stokes, Spirit River Detachment, at the Blueberry Mountain Hall, on the evening of April 27, 2023. 

Rural municipalities across Canada are grappling with the challenges of economic growth and development in the face of declining population and lack of infrastructure.

The STARS Keep the Fight in Flight capital campaign goal has been reached, thanks to its generous allies, including Saddle Hills County. The entire new fleet of H145 helicopters is now in operation and directly impacting lives every day thanks to community support.

We're looking for local non-profits, schools and/or community groups who would be interested in participating in our 2023 Highway Cleanup.

We need your help! In partnership with the Rural Development Network, we are looking to gather the community's thoughts on the current housing needs in Saddle Hills County.

Grade 9 Science students from the Savanna School took a field trip to the Savanna Water Treatment Plant on February 23, 2023 to get a close-up view of water quality in action, a topic they have been studying in class. 

We are incredibly grateful for all of the important work our volunteer fire departments do in helping to keep Saddle Hills County safe.

Providing reliable and safe potable water to our residents and businesses is incredibly important to Saddle Hills County.
