    Saddle Hills County Council was delighted to be a part of the groundbreaking for the new Maskwa Medical Center, in Grande Prairie, on May 20, 2025.

  • Wildfire GWF028 in the Blueberry Mountain Area

    Wildfire GWF028 was detected on May 22, 2025, and is currently classified as Out of Control. It is located about 30 km east of Bonanza and 8 km northwest of Moonshine Lake Provincial Park, with an estimated size of 40 hectares.

    Saddle Hills County hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for work on the Central Peace Regional Water Supply System.

  • Postal Service Disruption

    A strike notice has been issued by Canada Post workers for Friday, May 23, 2025. Should this strike go ahead, postal service will be disrupted in Saddle Hills County, which may affect ratepayers abilities to receive utility bills and other County correspondence in the mail.
