We're looking for local non-profits, schools and/or community groups who would be interested in participating in our 2023 Highway Cleanup.

We need your help! In partnership with the Rural Development Network, we are looking to gather the community's thoughts on the current housing needs in Saddle Hills County.

We have compiled some handy maps, courtesy of Alberta Natural Resources Management, on current monthly precipitation, as well as estimates and averages for spring.

Grade 9 Science students from the Savanna School took a field trip to the Savanna Water Treatment Plant on February 23, 2023 to get a close-up view of water quality in action, a topic they have been studying in class. 

Saddle Hills County’s Agricultural Services Department is hosting a free Working Well webinar on April 27, 2023 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Maps 1 & 2: Currently snow packs across the province are generally estimated to be near normal (based on the 1961-2022 period) for most areas of the province south of Red Deer and broadly trending to once in 3 to 6 year lows across the southern half of the North East Region and throughout much of North West Region (map 1).

The tentative spray areas for 2023 are Fourth Creek and Blueberry.

All properties within Saddle Hills County are reviewed on a five-year re-inspection cycle to ensure that assessment information remains current.

Saddle Hills County Ag Services Department are hosting an Ag Market Outlook Evening at the Fourth Creek Hall on March 8, 2023 at 6 p.m. Dinner will be provided.
