Business Resources

We are proud to provide a variety of resources to our local business owners to help them grow and prosper.

As well as the resources we offer in-house, we partner with a variety of organizations who offer their own valuable benefits and resources.

Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region

Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region is a non-profit organization that’s dedicated to building an economically diverse future for the communities of our beautiful region. More than just a business lender, their services for small businesses are designed to help regional residents start, grow, expand, franchise or sell their businesses. With a number of specialized business training programs, regular business networking events, and flexible business loans on offer, they can help you achieve your business goals. They help companies across all industries, with a strong history of helping those in the oil and gas, agriculture, forestry and food service sectors.

Dawson Creek & District Chamber of Commerce

The Dawson Creek & District Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of local businesses and business interests, and is focused on strengthening the economy of the Peace Region.

The Chamber aims to mobilize staff, volunteers, members, and businesses throughout the community to work together to achieve economic success for all. Together, they strive to keep the area’s economy at a level that encourages development and growth. Events, mixers, fundraisers, and meetings, carried out by the Chamber, help to achieve this goal. As a member, you can have a say in advocacy efforts and the things you would like to see the Chamber focus on moving forward. Strong membership involvement will increase the impact and effectiveness of the organization as a whole.

Chambers of Commerce also provide their members with value-added, member only programs, such as merchant rates, discounted event prices, comprehensive group insurance, courier and natural gas, among others. These programs are chosen and designed so that the savings generated often offsets the cost of membership.

While Saddle Hills County is already a municipal member of the Dawson Creek & District Chamber of Commerce and helps promote the County as a whole, individual businesses can also become members and take advantage of all the amazing individual benefits that membership has to offer.

Grande Prairie Chamber of Commerce

As a not-for-profit, member-driven organization, a Chamber of Commerce serves as the collective voice and engine for business and community betterment. Comprised of forward-thinking individuals and enterprises, they focus on empowering businesses and fostering opportunities through targeted initiatives and services.

The Chamber holds key positions on various community committees and projects within Grande Prairie and Region. Beyond the immediate locale, they extend their influence by collaborating with adjacent chambers and local governing bodies, with the overarching goal to serve as the ultimate connector—linking members to invaluable insights and to each other, all in pursuit of collective success.
