Accepting Bids for Central Peace Regional Water Supply Contract

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

The intent of this request for tender is to solicit and receive formal offers for the following project: 

Central Peace Regional Water Supply
Contract 1 – River Intake and Raw Water Transfer Station

The work included in this project is located in Birch Hills County, Alberta - (West of Dunvegan bridge).

The main items of Work of this Contract include the following:

1. Construct in-river cofferdam system.        
2. Install river intake concrete structure and intake piping.
3. Install secant pile shoring system for the 28 m deep wet well.
4. Construct 14 m diameter concrete wet well – Total depth: 28 m.
5. Construct the raw water pumping station, which includes the following:
   a.    Pre-engineered metal building - 445 sq. m
   b.    Pumping systems
   c.    Process piping
   d.    Electrical and controls
   e.    Standby generator
6. Miscellaneous siteworks, gravel access road, yard piping and tie-in to Contract #2.
