Be Prepared: Cooling Temperatures

Temperatures will continue to drop in the upcoming weeks, increasing the risk of seasonal hazards. Knowing the risks in advance helps you and your loved ones stay safe. #BePrepared by:

  • Updating or adding items to your emergency supplies, such as warmer clothing, heat packs, gloves, etc.  
  • Considering the unique needs of your household that could be affected by hazards in colder months and planning for how you will address them.
  • Preparing your property for winter by clearing gutters and eavestroughs, and checking window and door seals.
