Child Care Subsidy Updates for 2026

At Saddle Hills County, we understand the need for families to be able to access quality and affordable child care.

To help combat the cost, the County provides a Child Care Subsidy to eligible residents who are not covered by the Provincial Child Care Subsidy Program.

The subsidy is paid on a per hour, per child basis, up to a monthly rate, as per the Master Rates Bylaw.

Beginning January 1, 2026, the rate will be increasing to $3.10 p/hour, p/child up to a maximum of $520 p/month, p/child. 

To apply, please complete a Child Care Subsidy Program Application either online or at the County office.
