FCC 2026 Community Fund - Apply Today!
Saddle Hills County residents, organizations, and community groups are encouraged to explore funding opportunities available through Farm Credit Canada (FCC).
The FCC Community Funding program provides financial support for projects that enhance and strengthen rural communities. Eligible applicants can apply for up to $10,000 annually, with applications accepted year-round.
Funding is available to a wide range of applicants, including registered charities, non-profit organizations, schools, First Nations, Inuit or Métis communities, and municipalities.
Projects must align with one of FCC’s key focus areas, which include food security, well-being, education and food literacy, and community enhancement. Eligible initiatives may involve capital purchases or improvements that support local programming, infrastructure, or community services.
Examples of supported projects include equipment for food programs, initiatives that promote mental and physical well-being in the agriculture sector, educational opportunities related to food and farming, and enhancements to community spaces.
Certain projects are not eligible for funding, including operating expenses, wages, political or religious initiatives, for-profit ventures, and sporting teams or events.
The program is designed to invest in the long-term vitality of Canadian communities, particularly those connected to agriculture and the food system.
Saddle Hills County encourages local organizations and groups to consider applying for this funding to support community driven projects and initiatives.
