Fire Advisory in Effect - October 3, 2025

Due to the cooler temperatures, Saddle Hills County has downgraded the Fire Restriction to a FIRE ADVISORY, as of October 3, 2025. The Fire Advisory is in effect for all areas outside of the Grande Prairie Forest Protection Area. 

This Fire Advisory will remain in effect until conditions improve.

FCC Young Farmer Summit - December 11, 2025

Join Farm Credit Canada (FCC) for an exciting, free, full-day event for young farmers, aimed at enhancing your farm management skills. This year's summit will take place on December 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Red Deer Resort and Casino.

Hosted by Olympian and rancher Sage Walker, each program event features keynote speaker Dr. Tom Deans and covers practical topics, such as economics, mental health awareness, business management, succession planning, and much more.
