Participate in PCBFA's Mobile Agricultural Soil Sampling

Did you know that the Peace Country Beef and Forage Association (PCBFA) offers mobile agricultural soil sampling services?

Why is Soil Sampling Important?

Soil sampling allows producers to curate their inputs for each individual field, helping to improve overall yield, lowering expenses, and optimizing soil health.

How Does it Work?

Trained technicians will visit your field of choice to collect samples, practicing biosecurity measures to reduce the risk of contamination. Multiple samples will be collected throughout the field in order to obtain a sufficient sample size at the required depth.

What Happens to the Samples?

Once collected, PCBFA will ship samples to A&L Laboratories, in Ontario. The results will then be shared with the individual producer who will be provided with the opportunity to participate in a one-on-one consultation to decipher the results.

What Does it Cost?

Affordable pricing options are offered for both members and non-members. To help decrease costs further, mileage may be split amongst producers and a multi-field discount is available.
