Soil Health Workshop - June 16 & 17, 2023

Saddle Hills County, in partnership with the Savanna Agricultural Society, is hosting a two-day soil health workshop at the Savanna Rec. Plex on June 16 & 17, 2023, with Roger Andreiuk, PAg, former District Agriculturalist and owner of Andreiuks Agricultural Advice.

Participants will learn about soil formation processes, soil quality, how to soil samples and interpret soil test results, and much more.

The workshop will start with a classroom session on June 16, at 4 p.m., followed by dinner. June 17 will be a practical day, with participants able to get their hands dirty in a nearby soil pit.

Lunch and coffee breaks will be provided. The cost is $15 per person, and tickets should be purchased in advance through Eventbrite, here
