Spring Lake Powered Sites Complete
The project to bring power to campsites at the Spring Lake Campground is now complete. Campers will be able to take advantage of the new powered sites in Loops A and B, during the 2026 season.
Further details on campsite bookings, including seasonal sites, will be advertised in Spring 2026.
To ensure the best fishing experience next year, lake aeration is currently underway at the lake. Winter lake aeration keeps fish alive by adding dissolved oxygen to the water, preventing fish kills caused by ice cover that traps toxic gases and depletes oxygen. By maintaining oxygen levels in winter, aeration helps ensure the survival of stocked fish, allowing them to thrive and be available for anglers year-round and reduce the need to add new stock in the spring and summer months.
Aeration equipment can create thin ice and open water, which can be dangerous. Always obey posted warnings and stay clear of fenced areas and open water. Be aware of ice conditions and do not assume ice is safe for skating or walking without following all precautions.
Stay safe this winter, and we look forward to welcoming campers back to the lake next year!
