Taking Care of Yourself this Mental Health Week

This year, Emergency Preparedness Week coincides with Mental Health Week, serving as a great reminder that taking care of your mental health will help you navigate unexpected situations and that wellness tools come in useful in all situations.

The theme of this year's Mental Health Week is Compassion and Connection. Take the time to check on your loved ones with a supportive message or take stock of your own mental wellbeing.

Those working in the agriculture industry are among the most vulnerable when it comes to mental health issues. The Do More Agriculture Foundation offers a variety of mental health resources geared towards farmers and rural living, while 211 Alberta can provide links to supports in your local area.

Let's light up our community with kindness this Mental Health Week through connection and compassion.
